While these aren't the most attractive sunglasses on the market, they are a great bargain considering the price of my wife's prescription sunglasses. Due to multiple vision problems her glasses, with insurance mind you, cost well over $400.00 a pair! That price, by the way, is not for designer frames. The coupon-discounted places never honor their discounts because of her particular prescription needs.
Unfortunately, the light to dark changing glasses never got dark enough for her to use, so she would order her regular glasses and wait the recommended two week trial period to make sure the prisms etc. needed no adjustments, before ordering her sunglasses. We're talking eight hundred green ones, folks, for one pair of regular glasses and a pair of sunglasses! As the price of her glasses continued to rise, she thought paying that much for sunglasses every two or three years was ridiculous, and, since I am no fool, I agreed with her!
As an alernative she wore large regular sunglasses over her prescription glasses but they would often fall off whenever she bent down. It was during one of the two week waiting periods that she saw the Fit-Overs and decided to give them a try. She has found that the Fit-Over Sunglasses work great, don't fall off and are way less expensive. What a price difference! Halleluiah!
Since even on cloudy or snowy days she needs to wear sunglasses while driving to prevent her eyes from tearing up, the wrap around sides and extended top covering work especially well for her and that, my friend, increases the safety factor for her and for all of you folks on the road with her! She uses the amber glasses for those cloudy days. If you need an extra sturdy case for these sunglasses I can recommend the Bucket Boss Brand 54044 Worksite Eyewear Pouch. ~ The Boss

These are fantastic glasses. I've had many previous pairs which were crap. Those always got scratched. I can put these in the same position and they're scratchless. Extremely light sensitive, these are great even in the brightest sunlight. It doesn't do much good to still have to squint with sunglasses and with these I don't have to. I like the handy little carrying case which most times I don't use, but I still have the option of using. Only a couple times I noticed that one lense slightly popped out of position but it was easy to put back and hasn't recurred and the lense bended rather than broke. I like pliable plastic. I love 'em and am never without 'em. They're easy to clean and best of all, they stay clean and aren't a magnet for dust.

I am a road cyclist with high prescription eyeglasses, so the cycling sunglasses like the Smith prescription ones did not come in my strength. My regular prescription sunglasses were too small in the front, and did not have sides, so on downhill runs my eyes would tear and sand and junk would always get in my eyes. I bought two pair of the Fitovers - one Trilenium Gold for cloudy days, one PDX Grey for sunny days, and they are perfect. A great and affordable solution. Clear optics, great fit (the Aviator is the biggest one and it goes over my glasses easily).

I need glasses and in the past few years have needed bifocals - can't see or read without them. My prescription sun glasses have become expensive. I travel a lot and over the past few years have lost three pairs of prescription sun glasses - probably more than $1,200 worth of glasses. This last time I just wanted something inexpensive that if I forgot on the airplane would not be a painful loss. These work great. Good sun protection, stick to the top of my head or on a baseball cap when not needed, and offer good cheap protection. I'll probably never get another pair of prescription sun glasses. Great product. They look big but I don't care. The price is right and the functionality is excellent.

I bought these sunglasses especially because I wanted to be able to put them over my prescription eyeglasses. I am very active golfing, fishing, hiking and driving and eye protection was a necessity. The Fitovers are perfect. They were economical and were delivered to me within two days. I couldn't be happier.
